So, I took the same number sequence from last week, but this time based the chord progression on it instead of the melody. And once I had those chords, the groove here felt like exactly the right one for a chord progression of such character.

Of course, my rock musician brain hears some of this stuff and is screaming “no no, those are the Wrong Notes!” into my brain, so I added a simplified section in the middle for the solo.

Overall, I’m quite happy with how this one turned out.
